You have a number of students who continually use the ‘non-standard’ English variation of the pronoun you by pluralising it as ‘yous’. Apart from continually correcting this mistake, what could be a creative and effective teaching strategy? Jot down some ideas in your notes.

Suggestion:  Look at the interesting fact that English used to distinguish singular and plural with thou and you.
